  • Small farm animals, specializing in horses and horsemanship, but can and am comfortable with looking after goats, chickens/birds, rabbits/small animals, etc. I have my Alberta Equestrian Foundation membership and personal life insurance. Have some experience with farm equipment and am a very quick learner and always put safety first ! I'm very patient with all animals and no problem giving medications. I am used to walking 4 miles a day with my dog and look forward to walking yours too !

Let me take wonderful care of your animals so you can take a stress free vacation or time out.
I was born and raised in England, on a small farm helping my parents with horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, as well as a cow and a pig !

I've been responsible for horses since i was 9 years old and love them to bits. I know "almost" everything about horsemanship and take instructions very well.

I emigrated to Alberta in 1996 with my husband and young son and now find myself widowed, an empty nester and about to take early retirement so i can be of service to others doing what i love best, which is taking care of animals.

After loosing both my horses last year, i felt it was time to sell up the acreage, move into town and start a new journey in 2024.

The only responsibility i have is my German Shepherd/Labrador mix dog, Isabelle, who is the best kindest, well mannered dog who wouldn't hurt a fly. She's great with all animals, children and adults.

I hope to be of service to you this year. I am a very clean and respectful house guest and will keep your home clean and tidy (a little OCD, if I'm honest).

I'm really hoping to bring Isabelle with me on my house/pet sitting adventures and would fully expect to meet up with potential clients beforehand as an introduction. Isabelle has been known to quiet the most excited dogs with her calm nature.

Lesley was superb through and through. Completely transparent and proactive in sharing her thoughts on how to make the experience better for everyone; she enables us to have trust everything would be more than fine, and remain "in the moment" while we were away for a multi-week trip. It was a bonus that her dog and our black lab got along so well, they became friends and had a fantastic time.
