Greetings and welcome to your relief partners. Relief from stress when you are away from your home, plants and fur babies who cannot come with you. We are who you are seeking out.

We are a recently retired,
non-smoking couple from London, Ontario. After 34 years of marriage, we have become excellent communicators. We have raised 4 amazing children who are all independent now which has freed up our time.

In our leisure, we enjoy travelling, living in nature through hiking wilderness trails and spending time around various lakes and rivers. We have challenged ourselves through running half marathons and accomplishing triathlons. In 2017, we journeyed across Canada on a motorcycle from PEI to Vancouver Island. This experience showed us many fabulous areas and helped us realize that we still want to discover more of this beautiful country.

We are very responsible professional people who believe your surroundings should always look better then when you originally visited. We help out wherever and whenever possible. We have been involved in many fundraisers from swimming across lakes for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy to shaving our heads for Cancer Research.

We have pet sat for many people using this service as well as several of our friends. We always welcome an opportunity to spoil our grandpup, Bear, when he comes for visits and sleepovers.

We were absolutely blown away with Dave and Ethel– such lovely people. They went completely above and beyond our expectations. Communication was prompt, clear and open. We had originally asked them to stay at our place and look after our 11 month old golden retriever Moose– who is a handful, but when the plan for someone to watch our other dog Scout fell through, they stepped in and took care of the situation, and watched of both of them. Dave and Ethel are a lovely couple who provided excellent care of Riley and Tasha during our time away as well as taking meticulous care of our home. They communicated well both prior to and during their stay sending pictures of how things were going. They arrived the day before we left and stayed until we had returned ensuring good turnovers both coming and going. Everything was left super clean and tidy. We highly recommend them to others.

I don't even know where to start!! Dave and Ethel were such a wonderful couple, looking after our little asthmatic cat, Nyx with such care and love. She's usually a little shy with strangers but took to them so quickly! We came back to the smell of freshly baked cookies and a house that was literally sparkling! What a wonderful experience! Dave and Ethel are so amazing. First and foremost, our Charlie was so well cared for and that was our primary concern. From our first conversation Dave and Ethel gave us great comfort that we had made the right decision. The communication was first rate before and during the sit, including daily photos and updates while we were away. The cookies Ethel baked were lovely, including gluten free …so considerate! Dave & Ethel were absolutely a delite in caring for our pooches. They came and visited us several month prior and became aquainted with us and our dogs and quelled any fears of having Housesitters. They kept us up to date on the goings on with our dogs while we were half way around the world and I would highly recommend to anyon their care and commintment they had in regards to ensuring healthy habits were maintained by our dogs. Ethel and Dave were awesome house and dog sitters. We can't say enough good things about them. We were a little apprehensive leaving our pets with "strangers" but after meeting them we new that we had made the right choice. After being away for 6 weeks we returned to a spotless home, tidy yard and happy, healthy dogs. It was as if we never left! Dave and Ethel were excellent housesitters. They cared for my dog, hedgehog and houseplants. My dog really benefitted from having them stay at the house while I was away for 3 weeks. They gave her plenty of exercise and even helped with training. Communication was great, received frequent updates with pictures. Dave helped with fixing some things around the apartment as well.
