Lara

We are a family of four + one fluffy companion (Sammi, who occasionally joins), that live off-grid in the Yellowknife region, NT.

My husband, Jeremy, and I, have house sat for many years prior to having our two children (ages 3 & 6), and have started to again as a family of four, and occasionally our dog, Sammi. Sammi, is a retired medical service dog, who generally enjoys sleeping and car rides in his older age.

We have house sat houseboats, off-grid houses, town houses, apartments, single detached houses - well, you get the idea! We also ran a bnb for multiple years in Yellowknife and were landlords prior to selling our house this past year. We now live off-grid in a cabin Jeremy built. We are quite handy at dealing with various housing situations and systems!

We also have cared for many dogs and plants over the years, and Lara is well versed with farm animals, being raised on a small family farm in the Ottawa valley area.

We're looking for housesits mainly in BC, Yukon, Alberta, and the east coast. We'd love to show our children various areas in Canada.
