I am a retired senior executive specializing in sitting homes and caring for those gorgeous and fun critters we call our babies. I adore both dogs and cats, and have owned, cuddled and been house mom to them since I was a young lassie.

My career spans real estate / investor relations, arts management at The Banff Centre, Cultural Programming at the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics (althlete villages), and international high tech / cellular sales and marketing. The decade before I retired I was an interim CEO for several non profits in western Canada. I have lived in many cities across Canada; most recently Victoria, BC.

I am a quiet individual, preferring to spend my days in the sunshine reading, meditating or doing yoga & stretching, or visiting local sites and events. I enjoy creating art projects that incorporate Thai silk, beads, cedar wood and sea glass.

I don't drink, smoke nor do drugs and I even gave up coffee a few years back. (Although, to be honest, my greatest achievement has been giving up cheese several years ago! :-). I live as clean a life as possible to maintain my health and well-being, and to leave as small a footprint as possible on our increasingly fragile earth. I reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.

I deeply value honesty, excellence in communications, and the ability to be responsive to the ever changing flows of life., ie: flexibility and adaptation are resilient themes I pursue in my daily life.

I am happy to entertain sits of 14 or more days, although if I am in your region already, I am open to other requests. Just send me a note. I will also be in Canada for the winter this year, thus I am available for longer sits.

Cece took wonderful care of our dog and house while we were away. She is very responsible and reliable. Cece is a dog whisperer! We noticed that she was very experienced with dogs and our dog was attached to her very quickly. Our dog is a very active Aussi Shepherd/Collie Mix and sometimes not easy to handle when outside. Cece took the time to do quite a bit of research and was able to train our dog in a very short time frame. She taught him behavioral things that we have not succeeded with in ... MORE

I found Cece to be a caring person who my dog liked a lot. She sent me pictures occasionally of my dog, which was nice. When I returned, the house was tidy and everything seemed in order.

Cece did an amazing job of caring for my two cats while I was away for a month. She would send me updates and videos of them playing which was much appreciated. Cece was very interactive with them and they really loved being with her. In fact, when I returned home, they would go to her for attention instead of me! I'm so happy to have found Cece. She was very attentive to my cat's needs and kitty was happy and healthy when I returned home. The house and plants were well cared for and the neighbors appreciated how quiet and respectful she was.
