Susan & Duane

My husband and I both very much enjoy animals and have pretty much all our lives, been proud pet owners (dogs, cats, etc). Our pets have passed on of old age. As pet owners we have had others come into our home to care for our pets (from a few days to a couple of months) while we were away. We know first hand how important it is to find the right people to care for your beloved pet(s) and also, your home, while you are away. Duane is a biologist with a background working with wildlife. He is also a photographer, writer and BC publisher (Calypso Publishing). I am a retired elementary teacher. Since retiring I have been volunteering with wildlife and on various environmental projects. Both Duane and I are very healthy and active. Hiking, kayaking, gardening, travel, photography, etc are some of our favourite activities. We have very recently sold our home in Halfmoon Bay (Sunshine Coast) and are now living in the Victoria area. Both Duane and I love being with animals, we are responsible, healthy, active people who look forward to taking care of others pets. References can be provided.
