Hi,
We're a professional English couple in our 40s who started Canadian life in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia in 2011 to then move to the warmer climes of Victoria, BC, late 2019.
It's fair to say we've travelled around a little bit since being here, from east coast to west, and it's been an absolute blast wherever we rest our heads. Even though we now call Victoria BC home, we can usually be anywhere anytime and dedicate as much time and attention to your pets as they need.
We both love animals of course! We unfortunately lost our UK rescue dog to old age while here in Canada but she had a good run and a fantastic life. While we can't bring ourselves to have another pet, we're more than willing to share all our love with yours.
We have perfect house/pet-sitting reviews as you can see, and we're also happy to share reviews we've had on AirBnB if that helps - we know there's a lot of trust involved both ways when it comes to taking care of both pets and property.

Alan and Nikki are exceptional pet and house sitters. From our first communication, we could tell that they were responsible, competent, and were going to be committed to our dogs and house. They communicated very well with us before and throughout our trip; and dealt with a couple issues that arose extremely well and with a great attitude. Alan and Nikki are awesome housesitters. Our pets took to them right away. They sent daily updates and pictures, with excellent communication allowing us to go away and not worry about a thing. When we came home, everyone was happy, relaxed and well cared for. They asked valid questions about what the pets needs were and followed my notes to ensure the pets routines were followed. Alan and Nikki were great apartment/cat sitters. They sent us photos regularly while we were away and seemed to enjoy spending time with our cats. When we got home everything was clean (laundry was done, kitchen and bathrooms were clean, trash was taken out) and they even got us a gift for our wedding which was very sweet. This was very much appreciated as we were very jet lagged when we got home. We'd love to have them cat sit for us again and would definitely recommend them!

I want to thank Alan and Nicki for a wonderful job of pet care and house sitting while we were on holidays. The cat and dog were very happy with their new friends. The dog still wants to go with them every timesheet see's them. The house was well kept and I would not hesitate to use them again they are available. Alan and Niki were our first house sitters. We were away for one month overseas so we were taking a leap of faith. We could not have ask for better people to look after our home and our 12 year old cat Sully. They asked great questions in the initial interview process and this really showed they were they right folks for us.
