I've pet sitted in Melbourne|QLD for the past 7 years through word of mouth, and more recently across Canada as I've been travelling this beautiful country. Please check out my reviews on my profile.
In Melbourne, I also worked for a private pet sitting company. I work in animal welfare, and have worked at shelters around the world, so am very comfortable with animals and different needs.
I would love to stay at your home and look after your pets while you are away. I have a rescue lab/kelpie who I trained at home in Melbourne, AUS (being looked after by my mum), and miss dearly - so I look forward to doggo cuddles along my journey.
I always feel better when someone I can trust is looking after my pets whilst I'm away, and with this - I can assure you the same trust for your pets and home whilst you are away.

Amy was a fantastic sitter for my dog Jiggy. She has a lot of experience with dogs and great communication, so I was not worried about him while I was travelling. She was also very clean and respectful of my apartment. Would definitely recommend her as a house sitter!
Amy stayed at our house while we were away on vacation to look after our two dogs. It was great getting to know her, she is just lovely and did a wonderful job here with our boys. It was so nice not to worry at all while we were away knowing that they were happy and well taken care of.
Amy was a great dog whisperer, she took Torvi for walks, swims and sunset's on the beach. Thank you so much for looking after our puppy. Also she looked after the house and garden better than we could. We would love to have her come again but we hope she has a great trip to Canada and meets great people along her journey.
Amy was so considerate and responsible. I definitely recommend her as a sitter. She responded in a timely manner, followed through on what she said and left our house tidy, our cat well cared for and our garden well tended. Thanks so much!!
We were so pleased to have Amy look after our home and our dogs. From our first phone call I knew we would be so happy to have her. Amy is comfortable and experienced with dogs big and small. She looked after Duke’s ear infection and catered to their fussy eating habits. Everything was tidy when we returned. How comforting it is to know your pets are being well looked after in their own home when you are away!
Amy was very easy to contact and took Stellar's special needs in her stride. Stellar needs to be carried up and down stairs multiple times a day and to have eye drops twice a day. When I came home the house was as I left it and Stellar was obviously very well card for. Thank you Amy I'd be very happy to have you back!
Amy was fantastic! She left the house just as we left it for her. She treated our dogs so well. I would highly recommend Amy and would love to use her services again.
Amy was very easy to communicate with and made the house sit process very easy even with teh complications of a lockdown. She was very relaxed around teh dogs and they were in good spirits when returned home.
I would definitely recommend Amy for future sits as she was pleasant, communicative and looked after teh house and dogs with excellent care.
Case
Although we were not able to proceed with the house sit due to a snap COVID lockdown Amy was a pleasure to deal with. She responded quickly to messages and after our meet and greet I would trust Amy with the care of my house and fur children. Hopefully Amy can house sit for us another time in the future!!
We recommend Amy for other home owners to consider. She gave me daily photos / updates of my dog and was happy to do his meals, medications and walks. She left our home tidy and packed away all bedding.
Make sure the garden and potted plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
