76, Retired

Born in Ottawa, spent working life in Britain, now retired back to Ottawa.

My most recent project involved editing letters written by my father from when he served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. The book's title is "Hoping to Hear from You Soon: Canadian War Letters, 1940-1945", published by Friesen Press.

I am fond of both dogs and cats, but don't want the responsibility of a large dog. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment & do miss having them around.

Fantastic house sitter! Shelia did a great job looking after our home and our kitty Nala. Communication was great and she was always very responsive. Shelia was very flexible and helpful. Everything was in order and clean when we returned and Nala’s fur looked fabulous (she’s a Persian so not always easy to maintain her coat). Would absolutely book with Shelia again! Thanks Shelia!

Sheila was a great pet sitter. She took good care of our 2 cats and the house was in great order when we returned. She kept in touch and sent picture of my kitty. We will have her again. :)
