Dia dhuit! Hey! How's it going?

Our names are Dave (age 37) and Kristyn (age 37).

In 2011 Dave left his home in Cork, Ireland to go on a working holiday to Canada. It didn't take long before his visa turned into a citizenship. He had quickly fallen in love with the Canadian wilderness and all it had to offer: tramping, camping, free diving, spear fishing, foraging, and... Kristyn. Kristyn is a Canadian, who also really loves spending time in nature. When we first met she was living and working in a National Park as a Ranger. Our first date we hiked to a turquoise glacial lake and watched as a mama Grizzly bear and her two cubs splashed around to cool off in the summer heat. The rest is history.

We aspire daily to be kind, compassionate, and humble. We're a fan of slow-living and slow-travel. We love discovering the soul of the places we spend our time in. We have been housesitting all over New Zealand this last year. We enjoy the lifestyle and absolutely adore all of the animals and homes we've looked after. So we thought why not keep it going when we get back home to Canada.

With us as your sitters your home will be very well looked after. We are both very respectful and live by the principles of Leave no Trace.

While we are sitting for you we will be working from home, so your animal babies will be lavished full time with love and attention. We are experienced dog and cat sitters, having sit small and large breeds, puppies to seniors, kittens and cats. We've also had cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, tarantulas, and hamsters of our own. We absolutely love all animals and are open to learning how to specifically care for yours.

We will be available throughout 2024/2025 for short and long term house sits.
