Hello!
We're Jaime and Scott, a couple from NS/NB. We like to live a "semi-retired" lifestyle, generally working May-October and traveling abroad during the winter months. Lately, we've been spending more time exploring our own country and we've found housesitting is an excellent way to do that.

Our experience... We've both done various types of house/pet sitting over the years. We love dogs and cats! We have cared for cats and dogs of all sizes, pet birds and chickens, fish, and farm animals. Scott in particular has spent several years working with cows on a dairy farm where he also cared for goats, sheep, and horses. We both enjoy yard work and taking care of plants. Jaime loves to grow vegetables as well as flowers and herbs. We're both capable and comfortable doing the tasks and chores that come along with maintaining a home. We're experienced in giving medicine to dogs and cats, and can take care of basic grooming needs. Scott has hottub/pool maintenance experience and is in general a super handy guy!

Thanks Jamie & Scott for doing such a fine job of looking after our home and the GIRLS while we were away. The house was in great shape when you left, and the Girls were sad to see you go. And thanks Scott for bringing my wallet with our passports, money, credit cards and ID to the ferry after I had lost it on the road. It was nice to meet Scott and Jamie. Communication was good before and during the house sit. They took such good care of my and my daughters dogs. They were in touch a few times when we were away with concerns about the dogs, which was reassuring. Dogs were happy, and the house was well taken care of too. Thank you!

Jaime and Scott are exceptional house/pet sitters - Zeus really misses them. Upon our return, the house was just as we left it and only wish we had more time to visit before they moved on to the next gig. Can't wait to have them back :)

Jaime and Scott gave us such peace of mind. They were lovely, thoughtful about our cats, neat, responsible, and good communicators. They even had to give our 17 year old cat a pill every four days. They sent pictures and updates on occasion so we saw how everyone was faring. The cats and house looked better when we got back than they had when we left. All of us would love to have them stay again and highly recommend.
