Peggi-Lynn: 65, Retired Community Health Educatorworker

I am now retired from my career as a Community Health Educator and looking to spend some time in BC & AB to be closer to family.
My preferred areas are Nelson BC & Kootenay area. I enjoy hiking, Alpine and Nordic skiing. I am very interested in pet/house sitting during the winter months.
My sister & mother owned a successful dog & cat kennel business in Prince Albert, Sask. for 25 + yrs., I enjoyed assisted with the daily dog walking, care & cleaning of the kennel facilities. I have also
lovingly cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and needs within my own home. I have one small (10 lbs.) well trained senior dog that maybe
sitting with me when possible.

I have spent a few winters in Nelson B.C. house sitting and caring for many lovely pets. I loved my daily dog walks and Nordic skiing. Planning to return to the Kootneys again soon.

I also have experience in interior house organizing, cleaning and painting for home owners.

Peggi-Lynn is probably a wonderful and conscientious housesitter. The arrangement did not work out for either of us. We went through a 60-90 min training, and all seemed well. However, after I was traveling, Peggi quickly informed me she could not follow through due to allergies and family demands. I was forced to hunt from a distance for a local sitter, which was stressful and expensive, or cancel my trip. I recommend that the site suggest that applicants define any allergies or special needs ... MORE

Peggy-Lynn was able to solve the plant infestation of gnats and left my house in good condition. Most importantly my little dog was well taken care of.
