Hello homeowners! I'm Bruce. I'm a creative guy originally from Saskatchewan. I've been living in B.C for about 7 years and been on Vancouver Island for the past two. I am a visual artist( mostly painting), a musician ( acoustic guitar), an aspiring yoga teacher, and a bit of a Jack of all trades. ( should any maintenance or repairs be required at your property)....I've worked in construction, landscaping, renovations, security, acting the film industry and as a cook in some of Vancouver's busiest restaurants. I also sell artwork from time to time and do commissions of pets, portraits, and landscapes ( in case your looking for the perfect gift )
Currently I'm working to build an online business that I can do remotely, as I love to travel and explore new places, which is also how i got into house and pet sitting as it offers a great way to experience new places and to see new landscapes to inspire my art.
I have a lot of experience house-sitting and pet-sitting, short term and long term, with great references. I grew up in a household with dogs and cats, and have had dogs of my own in the past. I have taken care of properties and pets in Costa Rica, Spain, Germany, and some others here in Canada, in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and throughout BC, and here on the Island. I am currently at a long-term house-sit near Sooke BC where I have been since May and will be leaving here in November. So I am now looking for something over the winter months.
