Hi there! I'm Danay, an experienced house sitter currently looking for house sits across Canada. I'm from Southwestern BC, but I love to travel and have eight years of experience volunteering with animals and house-sitting all over the world, including in North, South, and Central America, Europe, and Asia. I have cared for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, birds, and various farm animals. I have experience with rescue animals and animals with special needs.
I used to have pets myself, and I have learned from personal experience how to be attuned to an animal's needs and provide them with the best care possible. Whether your pets love cuddles or need a lot of personal space, my goal is to make their time away from you as stress-free as possible.
I have also looked after homes without pets, where my main duties included home & garden upkeep and snow clearing.
I am non-smoking, single, and currently have no pets. I also work from home, which enables me to be around for emergencies during the day.
I know leaving your home can be stressful, so I aim to be as open and communicative as possible leading up to and during the sit. I can send you regular photo updates on the messaging app of your choice. I'm new to this platform so I don't have many reviews yet, but I would be happy to provide additional references from past sits.
