Hi there :)

We are a New Zealand couple coming to Canada in 2023 as part of our year long backpacker holiday.

We love animals, enjoy a clean home and hope housesitting will be a fun way to see what life in Canada is like, while also being able to slow our travels down and stick to our budget.

We are both non-smokers and between the two of us we love the outdoors, reading, and photography. Caitlin enjoys cooking and gardening, and Dom is an avid sports follower. We consider ourselves to be reliable and tidy, while Dom used to work as a cleaner. Also, we can provide vaccine passports on request (both triple vaxxed).

In order to save for our trip, we have been housesitting here in New Zealand so have plenty of previous housesitting experience, which was mostly organised through the associated website Kiwi Housesitters. You can check at our reviews from our profile below.

These housesits involved caring for multiple cats, dogs and fish as well as the owners properties. We both love animals and have always lived in houses with pets.

Having first met at Otago University in New Zealand, upon graduating we spent the following year travelling through Europe using house sharing services such as Airbnb and Workaway. So we are experienced and aware of the responsibly and respect that comes with living in someone else's home.

We look forward to looking after our own home and pets one day, but in the meantime you can trust us to look after yours.

Caitlin and Dominic took great care of our place - it was spotless when we got back! They also cared for our indoor and outdoor plants and our pretty low-maintenance bunny and fish. They were professional and polite, always responding promptly. I would definitely recommend them for house and pet sitting!

Caitlin and Dom were lovely housesitters, our pointer had a fabulous time with them. They gave him the plentiful exercise he needed, and he clearly enjoyed being with them. They left our home spotless and mowed the lawns. We would very happily have them housesit for us again if they weren't heading overseas!
