65+, Retiree

Hi, Garry here, a fit and healthy Kiwi retiree, with 55+ year's of running behind me. Now enjoying Yoga, Pilates and gym exercises.
Farming background growing up, cattle, sheep and poultry, along with dog's and birds as pet's.
A typical Kiwi, having traveled to 50+ countries.
Into my 3rd year of housesitting and thoroughly enjoying summers in NZ, then summers abroad.
A very house proud person who cares for ones pet's, home and gardens as if they were my own.
Family and friends often say that I am a bit OCD, sometimes that I am happy to own.

Fabulous! Garry looked after my baby, who is now missing his buddy I suspect. Garry went way beyond in the up keep of my garden & housekeeping. Would highly recommend for any house sitting. Thank you Garry!!!

Garry was excellent. The house was immaculate, the garden very well tended. He is clean, tidy and considerate. The two dogs were obviously attached to him. He walked them, fed them well, played with them and even brushed their fur. Garry went the extra mile. He chopped down a small tree, as he'd been asked, but also made it into bundles of logs and kindling for the fire. Flower gardens and fruit/veg areas were well looked after and watered appropriately. Gary was wonderful! Top notch communication, and the house was cleaner than when we left it. He got along great with our dog and took her out for many adventures. He went above and beyond with the garden care as well- he has to keep himself busy! A special shout out for keeping my literally hundreds of houseplants happy, and for sorting out a flat tyre on the car. Many thanks Gary, you're always welcome here.
