68, In Love with Life

I am a free spirited person, reliable, independent, sharing my knowledge and skills in many areas.
I love taking care of cats, homes & gardens and have been referred to as a genuine Mary Poppins as my references will attest.

Born in Canada, I am currently retired, fluent in English and French and have adored cats my whole life.

I love to travel and get to know people from around the world. From 2014 onward, I have been active with Helpx, a world wide work exchange organization that matches home owners with volunteer personnel. You will find the attached references.

I also registered at Aussie House Sitters where I had 3 house sitting positions during the winter of 2018.

Since Covid, I have chosen to find house sitting positions in Canada: so far, in Vancouver Island in BC, Raymond in AB, Oakville, Ottawa, Neebing and Belleville in ON.. I have full vaccination as required and currently live in NL during summer months.

By doing house sitting, it feels great to offer peace of mind to home owners, knowing your home and cats are well taken care of and safe while you are away or on vacation. My recent reviews are at the bottom of this page.

I cannot express how amazing Jeannine is! She's a lovely person, easygoing and we couldn't have landed on better hands, she felt like family. Our kitties are seriously missing her upon our return! they almost seemed disappointed we were back... Jeannine took incredible care of our home, it was spotless when we came back. Thanks to Jeannine, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful, stress-free, 82 day holiday. Our pet cat Raja was happy and very content when we got home. He acted like we had never been gone, so we knew he received the same loving care that we always give him. Jeannine sent us a photo of Raja each day with a great caption. Jeanine sat our hime and cat for 5 months. What a lovely lady. The house was spotless when we arrived home, our cat twiggles was so loved that we didn't get attitude from her for leaving her for so long. We left our brand new vehicle for Jeanine to drive which was well taken care of. We were advised of what mail came weekly which was great. I would recommend Jeanine to anyone to care for your home and pet. Thank you Jeanine.
