Katherine & Kieran

My name is Kat, my partner Kieran and I love the outdoors and animals. We have both spent the last 2 years working at Mt Hotham during the ski seasons and love the area so much we chose to stay.
We are currently looking to work with in Canada on a Working holiday starting December 2023 through to January 2025.

Kat-

I have a Degree in Veterinary and Wildlife science as well as previous study in Travel and Tourism. I am currently studying to become a Vet Nurse in Wangaratta, Victoria.

I have grown up on a small farm in Gippsland, Vic raising and caring for large and smaller animals including Horses, cattle, dogs, chickens and rabbits. I have worked in farm hand role at the world class dog breeding facility called Puppies Australia. Experience included assisting with the breeding program, caring for the puppies, encouraging positive socialisation of dogs and puppies, working alongside the Vet during vaccination and health checks of puppies, and regular walking of the dogs. My love of animals has led me to seek out work and study with them as much as I can.

Kieran-

Kieran has a Degree in Mathematics. He is currently studying Outdoor Education in Wodonga, Victoria. Currently manages and runs Alpine Sire Tuition for all ages.

Kieran grew up with a house cat but loves all manner of pets and animals and enjoys learning about all types of animals and how to look after them.

What we are looking for-

Properties in and around ski fields of British Columbia and Alberta.

How we can help-

We are comfortable looking after all manner of animals just let us know how you like to do it and we will follow your instructions closely including giving medication. Farm work such as cutting wood, fixing fences and mowing the lawn is no problem as we love working outdoors and with animals. We both have our manual drivers license. Over the last 8 years I have casually house sat for family and friends and pride myself on maintaining a neat and tidy home.
