We are an older, very responsible couple who have had extensive experience owing (as much as you can ever own a cat!) nine cats for over 40 years. We do not currently have any pets, as we wish to travel and our last cat Orion died in 2017 . We absolutely love animals and cats in particular. Our adult children and grandson live in Vancouver and Burnaby, so we and we are planning to come to Vancouver to visit them and feel that pet sitting is a good way to go. We would accept sitting jobs that are near public transit or access to a vehicle if not. In the summer we drive so we would require a parking space. We live in Winnipeg. Would prefer sitting with indoor cats and any breed is acceptable. Have volunteered in the past with Rescue Siamese (a no kill shelter here in Winnipeg devoted to rescuing Siamese and Siamese-cross cats. Have had 5 successful sits over the past two years. (2 were repeats). We look forward to being in an environment with cats again.
