Alex & Rachel

Rachel and I are passionate about our environment and and the dogs that we share our lives with. Rachel is an artist and educator and i am a Canine trainer (link to website available on request) and K9 Volunteer liaison with the SPCA in Auckland, New Zealand. When we can, we love to travel our beautiful country with our dogs in our Jayco Outback caravan, enjoying the great outdoors and living life !!For us, Pet sitting is the perfect synergy. It allows us the chance to travel and experience new adventures and best of all, meet new people and spend quality time with their wonderful pets.
We have lived rurally for the past 30+ years and animals (Equine, Canine and Feline ) have always played a huge part of our lives. We are extremely fortunate to have access to forest and coastline very close by and our happy place is being out amongst this environment with our dogs at foot - they have a wonderful life !! I bring 40 years of canine experience to this venture - ranging from being a Canine Search specialist with the NZ USAR Taskforce for a number of years, to establishing a training enterprise working with behavioural issues, and currently working with shelter dogs and training the volunteers who look after them. Rachel also has a deep love of animals and is my 'partner in crime' . I couldn't do what i have, without her support. We are a great team and bring this dedication to our desire to provide the best possible experience for your pets, while in our care. We look forward to getting to know them and spending quality time with them.
