  • I have spent a week this fall WWOOFing at a farm in Ontario, taking care of chickens, sheep and pigs and have done 2 house-sits with chickens and geese this winter. My husband grew up in Alberta and has experience with horses in his youth. I have also ridden/cared for horses.

We recently moved to Nova Scotia and are looking for occasional house sits in Montreal for when we return to visit family and friends.

Lalie and Tom were our first Housesitters. We were a bit hesitant at first but decided to give it a try. We could not have asked for a better experience! We had full confidence in them from the moment our puppy wagged her tail and went right up to them (unusual for her). They looked after her as if she were their own. Our experience of having Lalie & Tom house sit for us was really great! We were '1st time users' of this service and somewhat nervous (having only met them on FaceTime and never having used house sitters before)..... We had NOTHING to worry about. They are fantastic! Very helpful when an issue came up with the house (due to our local power company). I can't begin to express our appreciation for Tom and Lalie! Having never used housesitters (that we didn't know previously) there was some speculation as to how it would all work out. That said, having met them both (they kindly agreed to come earlier than our travel) to learn the ropes and meet the animals in advance, we had no doubt that we had found the perfect sitters!
