Thomson & Laura

Hello;

We are new on this site, but we've been on another doing petsits since 2013.

We are Laura and Thomson, both 62 yrs young :), semi-retired, and very active.

We are huge animal lovers with lots of pet sitting experience. We are very clean, responsible and dependable, and fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including booster vaccinations.

Laura was a University/College Professor and Thomson was a Senior Project Manager for various organizations, including Vancouver Olympic Committee (VANOC) and the Ontario Government agency, Infrastructure Ontario. We occasionally do Construction Management and Tourism & Hospitality Management consultancy through our company (Farquhar Consultants.com)

We currently are in Vancouver, BC, doing petsits from 2023-2024.

When it is not hurricane season in South America, we live on our 40-foot sailing yacht named 'Destiny 4-2' located in Guatemala on the Rio Dulce River. We love to travel and have sailed Italy, Spain, Australia, the US, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Belize, and now South America During hurricane season, we leave our boat in a safe marina on the Rio Dulce in Guatemala and travel.

We flew back to Vancouver, Canada, on March 10th, 2023, and have been pet/house sitting ever since. Love getting our animal lovin' fix! :)

As animal lovers, we raised two Bullmastiffs and two cats, who all lived to ripe old ages (but are still terribly missed). We have lots of TLC to offer your home and fur babies.

While pet sitting, we like to electronically stay in touch with the owners, sending messages, photos, and videos, ensuring them all is well with their home and that their pets are happy and safe.

We would love to take care of your home and pets and give them the loving care and companionship they deserve while you are away.

We're looking forward to e-meeting you or meeting in person and getting to know you and your fur babies a little bit.
