Hello,

We are a French couple in Canada for two years. Seven years ago, we left France to embark on an adventure that took us to Australia for a year, three months in New Zealand, five years in New Caledonia, and then back to New Zealand for another year. Now, it's time for us to discover Canada!

We have diverse experiences in housesitting around the world, caring for dogs, cats, and even chickens. We are very respectful of your home and belongings, and we always listen to your needs.

Leïla: 36 years old, cheerful, and passionate about cooking! She is a teacher, instructing Math and Science in French, and she also teaches French online here in Canada.

Alex: 35 years old, energetic, and very handy—he can fix just about anything! He was raised with 11 cats and 2 dogs, so he knows them very well. He works in sales.

We love walking in nature and mountain biking. We lead a healthy lifestyle, enjoy sports, and do not smoke. We speak both French and English.

This was our first time using a house sitter and we were so fortunate to find Leïla and Alex. They kept in touch while we were away and took exceptional care of our home and our cat Ziggy. We came home on a late flight to a warm apple cobbler made by Alex and delicious olive bread made by Leïla. It has been a pleasure to get to know both of them and hear about their adventures. Highly recommend this very kind and trustworthy couple and will seek them out again!

Leila and Alex are a nice couple that looked after our cat Jerry, and home on acreage. They kept in touch for the month we were away. When we returned we were welcomed home by the aroma of a cake baked for us and a clean and tidy home. It was wonderful as it was our first time having housesitters and we weren't sure what to expect. I would highly recommend them. You really will have no worries while you are away and your pets will appreciate the care and cuddles!

Leila and Alex were wonderful. This was our first time using a house sitter and we couldn’t be happier. They kept us updated on our pet, the house was spotless when we returned. Alex even fixed our leaking tap, and Leila baked us a cake! Absolutely amazing couple.

It's obvious that Leila and Alex love animals. I liked hearing about their daily routine with the pets, and their communication with us when our kitty had an issue with her paw was much appreciated. Communication throughout our time away was more than expected, and after a few wee hiccups due to things like our kettle breaking, and issues with allergies (Leila arrived during the height of pollen season), things seemed to go well. Leïla & Alex were fantastic - animals were well loved and cared for and they were very kind people. Dog got more exercise than we give her. Haha. Cleaned the house at the end of the stay as well - cleaned our fridge out as well! Highly recommended house sitter. =)
