Jeff & Alexandra

Hello, my name is Alexandra, and I’m from Ukraine. I’m a teacher of English and Ukrainian languages and will soon be returning to Vancouver for another short-term teaching position at a downtown college. My friend and business colleague, Jeff, a retired Canadian teacher, will be accompanying me to provide support while I’m in Canada.

We are currently looking for housing opportunities, and when Jeff mentioned cat-sitting, I was instantly excited—we love cats! My family and I have two cats back in Europe, and I genuinely understand and connect with them. I know how to care for them, recognize their needs, and understand their unique ways and language. Jeff often comments on how naturally I interact with cats and how well they respond to me.

We would be absolutely thrilled to take care of your cats and home while you’re away. Both of us are respectful, responsible, and tidy individuals who would maintain your home in excellent condition. Most importantly, we would care for your cats with love and attention, following all your wishes and requirements.

I also have previous house-sitting experience in Brittany, France. On one occasion, I cared for a home for three weeks, and during another stay, I looked after a house and five cats: Ginger, Kesha (21 years old), Musia (the mother cat), and her two adorable kittens, Tom and Jerry. These experiences further deepened my understanding of caring for pets and managing household responsibilities.
