Hi there :). At time of sign-up (Sept/24) I'm a 65 year young, healthy, fit, active retired lady who loves animals and the outdoors. Non-smoker, no drugs; bevvies now and then - yes.

Having currently lived in the same location since 1988, I am ready to explore other areas of this wonderful country. As a house sitter I feel that opportunity will open up in many locations and offer the access of new cultures to take in. At the same time I will be able to provide a loving relationship with your pet(s) and care for your home while you are away. I have had pets pretty much my entire life .. cats, dogs, horses, chickens, bunnies & pigs. My timeline for starting to house/pet sit is April/May 2025.

Being a home owner for over 40 years, I can appreciate the value of an honest, reliable person to care for your property while away. I currently live in a large house on a small acreage with 2 cats & 2 dogs. One of my dogs (Georgia) will be my travel companion. She is a big goofus, 2 year old gentle Malinois - she goes everywhere with me. My property consists of a vineyard, multiple garden/yard areas, in-ground pool; all of which I enjoy the hands-on labour to maintain. Give me anything outside to do .. I'm in (err .. that would be outside :) )! Sense of humour .. yes. Gardening and flowers keep me busy year round. From plating/growing and then foraging seeds for the next season. I am also able to perform physical labour, should that be required (eg: painting, minor repairs, etc. - at a price to be negotiated). Having said that, a rural type setting or close access to same for hikes & adventures suits me best, however I'm not limited in that way.

I hope your consideration of me for your next house/pet sit is taken. I am fairly new to this avenue and am looking forward to the many adventures that lie ahead.
