Terry & Pat

Terry is a retired teacher and Pat is a retired employee of the RCMP. Both are hands-on people while at home. Pat enjoys puttering about in his carpentry workshop, while Terry enjoys sewing and quilting. We are both non-smokers.

We have two adult children, both of whom are married and now have children of their own. Our own pet passed when she was 14 and we miss her terribly. We now look forward to cuddles and walks with gentle pets in Nova Scotia and PEI.

We are active 60-somethings who enjoy walking/ hiking, canoeing, Nordic skiing, and traveling. We completed 12 long-distance home exchanges in previous years, and grew accustomed to settling into a home-away-from-home for weeks at a time. We enjoy meeting new friends and playing tourist in our temporary neighbourhoods, We now juggle time between our own home in NL with pet sitting in Atlantic Canada, and home exchanging in Europe.
