Geoff & Danielle

Responsible, healthy, active, NS, ND, with years of dog and cat experience, wanting to travel.

We have been home owners for over 35 years. We reside in a large heritage home on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC, which we have lovingly updated and maintained for almost 20 years. We have a bustling household - our 2 grown adult children are still living with us, and we have two dogs and two cats! We have forever been a family with pets. We walk our 2 dogs for at least an hour every day. Our 2 cats prefer to go outside to explore in the morning, and generally stay in or near the premises until early evening. Our sunroom allows all of our pets to come in and out for food and water all day. On occasion, when our friends need a weekend away or a short vacation, we have been happy to pet-sit their dogs in our home or provide a once-daily pop-in visit for their cats. We have also inspected family and friends’ vacant homes during a prolonged absence, meeting their home insurance requirements.

Having owned our own properties, we are aware of all the responsibilities and concerns with home ownership, and over the years, Geoff has performed basic home repair and maintenance tasks on his own; he has the technical and maintenance ability to report and/or handle/troubleshoot any issues promptly. Although we are city dwellers now, we were both raised on rural properties and have experience with wells and septic systems. We have also held employment positions in which security clearances were required in order to be fully bonded.

Now that Geoff is retired, we are planning to take more time to travel, and as long as there is wifi, Danielle can work remotely wherever and whenever she wants!
