Hello,
We are two active, non-smoking people who have had pets of all kinds over the years: cats, dogs, birds, hamster, guinea pigs. Jaclynn even lived on a farm and raised horses, cows and pigs.
We are clean and tidy (I am happy to share our reviews on Airbnb) and quiet. I am also happy to provide references from pet owners whose pets we have cared for over the years.
Since beginning our pet sitting adventures, we have provided care for a variety of dogs (large and small, old and young), cats of all ages, chickens, ducks, geese, horse and fish. While we now have half a dozen "regulars", we always enjoy meeting new animals and people.
Jaclynn teaches while Gerry works online so he is available to walk pets during the day.
We love to visit new places and get to know new areas: museums, art galleries, coffee shops, hiking trails and bookstores are some of our favourites. We also do a lot of hiking throughout the year.
This year we also bit the bullet and tried house sitting internationally. A great experience at our two sits in New Zealand.

This was our first experience with Housesitters and we are very pleased. Jaclyn and Jerry went above and beyond to make our cats happy. One of our cats was a bit bewildered by her new friends, but with their patience and kindness she eventually warmed up. Our house was neat and tidy when we came home . What a lovely couple! Jaclynn and Gerry were amazing pet sitters for our fur babies. We came back to happy animals and a very clean and tidy house. Our cat Willow, who is fearful in the presence of unfamiliar people, warmed-up to them right away, thanks to their calm and kind nature. We are so thankful and appreciative of the care that Jaclynn and Gerry gave to our animals and our house. We certainly hope they will be back!

Jaclynn and Gerry were great with my timid cats. I would even say they helped to continue with the socializing of the newest member as she seemed to be even more at ease when I came back. The cats were very much to their usual habits and personalities quite quickly, and the updates I received daily showed that. The house was left in great condition with everything very clean, neat and tidy. I would love to have Jaclynn & Gerry sit again, and I'm sure my cats would as well!

we had a perfect match with Jaclynn and Gerry. They took great care of our animals and house and were easy to communicate with. Loved the updates each day on how everyone was doing and really appreciated the open communication as we had to adjust our plans. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a house sitter!
