New on this site, I have my own place, and I work, but I'm interested in being with animals without owning one for the time being. I have house sat and pet sat for many friends and colleagues over many years, all with great success.
I LOVE all animals and have a lot of experience with dogs under a trainer (very patient and great with skittish animals) as well as experience with cats. As a long time owner of both cats and dogs, I am taking a break now due to intermittent work travel.
Because of my own travel experiences, I know how important and helpful it is to have affordable care for a pet in its own environment.
I have always been proactive about the care of my own animals, and have an amazing vet who has shared information and commended me for my proactive approach.
I've had a hound doberman mix, a spaniel beagle mix, a Jack Russel terror, (all lived to ripe old ages) and have looked after a multitude of breeds. I commit to initial visits on my own steam to meet everyone and to have a walk with dog and owner together.
I walk for miles, love to cycle, run, kayak, paddle board, in other words, totally into fitness.
I'd like compensation, fees are totally negotiable. Happy to provide references. I am well known to a broad community and therefore highly accountable.
