I have a 7lb toy poodle who sits with me. She is social and loves cats and dogs. However, due to her small size she is delicate and only suitable to be around friendly, small breed dogs, and cats.

I enjoy a health centred, and simple lifestyle. I am responsible, quiet, and clean.I prefer clean, tidy, uncluttered, well ventilated homes in quiet areas. I am not able to stay or sit in a smoking environment. A good internet connection is required. Laundry facilities and parking on site are required.

I am relatively flexible. I have a current criminal record check available including; vulnerable sector and a clean driving record. I have a valid class 5 drivers license. I am Covid vaccinated and boosted.

Some of my hobbies include walking, reading, biking, yoga and photography. I love going for gentle walks and hikes to explore the local area. I especially love the beach. I would appreciate your local suggestionsI

I have a car which I can use within BC. Where I am located. Otherwise, I prefer to house sit in locations within walking distance of standard amenities or where bus service is available unless your car is available for my use. If your car is left parked, I can start or warm it as needed. I can collect your mail upon request.

I have experience with a variety of animals. I am used to special dietary or grooming needs. I love taking dogs on walks or cuddling on the couch. I have some experience caring for rescue animals with health and/or behavioural issues. Please let me know if your pet has any.

I am available for sits of various durations.. I keep my word. I like to build lasting relationships, and have enjoyed repeat sits with people and their pets.

Whilst away, I am happy to keep you updated with images or video meetings with your fur babies. I am dedicated to safeguarding your house, maintaining its cleanliness, and ensuring you return to a space as beautiful as you left it!

Any unforeseen issue in the house or with your pet, I will notify you about immediately. Break downs of your appliances, hoses, etc is not my responsibility, but I will inform you if it happens. I can contact the appropriate support upon approval. It would be ideal to have your credit card information and pets issues registered with a Vet to be safe. There is a list that this website suggests you fill out for emergency contacts. I appreciate having this information. I am not responsible for expenses or hydro.

Due to physical limitations, I am not able to do heavy lifting, shovel snow, gardening or lawn work. I am not able to deep clean your oven or weed your garden.However, I am more than happy to sit for you if you are able to have someone arranged to do heavy lifting/gardening, snow removal, or yard work. I can water plants if requested. I am not available for farm work.

*Please note: If you would like me to travel some distance to house sit for you, I would like to be reimbursed for gas/ferries, or plane fare. I do not charge for house or pet sitting. Food , donations or gifts are gratefully accepted. I will purchase my own groceries unless otherwise indicated.
