SingleI have varied farm experience. I grew up in farmland in Southern Ontario and all of my friends' families were farmers. So I know my way around a farm and farm animals. I have "wwoofed" and volunteered on farms in Canada & in Australia. I worked on a hydroponic lettuce farm for several months in NSW. I worked on an organic vegetable farm in Northern NSW. I have looked after a dozen chicken, ducks, reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits. I have been around cows and horses (although no extensive knowledge of their care). I have been around barn cats and farm dogs. I have cared for llamas & sled dogs. I have some experience caring for pigs. I love gardening and growing vegetables and flowers from seed. I do not claim to be a farming expert, however I do have some knowledge and experience and I am a quick learner.

Candice did a fantastic job of taking care of our house and our cats for the three months we were away. She was very quick to communicate and ask questions if she needed something clarified and she always answered our inquiries quickly. When we returned, the house was clean, the lawn mowed and the garden thriving. We would definitely recommend Candice as a housesitter and hope to have her return in the future!

Candice was very professional, friendly, and took wonderful care of our 2 active cats. We picked her up on the way to the airport for our vacation and she drove our car back to our home. Candice was always quick to answer messages and gave us a few updates on our home and critters. Then she collected us in our car from the airport two weeks later which made our trip soooo much easier. The house was sparkling clean when we got home. I would highly recommend Candice as a housesitter and petsitter.

Candice is a lovely young lady and was an excellent house sitter for us when we were away on our recent holiday. Ella, our 8 year old Ridgeback was well looked after with daily beach walks. Candice kept us informed with updates and pictures of Ella and was very proactive when our pool needed some attention. Candice looked after our beloved dog Ellie for a period of about 2.5 weeks. We cannot recommend Candice higher, she took such great care of Ellie and also our home. It was a joy to receive updates and come home to a clean house and a very happy dog.

Everything Candice says in her profile I found to be true. I came home from 6 weeks away to find my place absolutely spotless, my cat Dexter relaxed and happy, and my plants thriving! Candice even gave Dex a new nickname as he was very smoochie with her! I recommend her very highly.
