We are a retired couple, both 71 and triple vaccinated for Covid and up until March 2020 living and traveling on our small sail boat. When on land we enjoy house sitting. We have owned all our homes(thirty five years)in England and in Canada and taken excellent care of them and our gardens. We have owned and loved dogs,cats, rabbits, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, mice and are always happy to consider other pets. We are non smokers, able drivers and responsible.


We cherish slow travelling and exploring new communities and feel you can get much more of a sense of a place by experiencing it as a local would. But mostly we welcome the chance to spend some quality time with animals. For us the house sitting is a win-win as the one thing we really missed in our sailing lifestyle was having some fur babies to love resulting in lots of pent up cuddles we wanted to share :-). The pleasure we receive from giving service and sharing trust is an unexpected and treasured reward and in March 2020, after 14 years on our boat, we sold the boat so that we could continue house sitting and enjoy caring for pets full time. Covid has clipped our wings but only temporarily Now that it is safer to do so we are actively searching for homes and pets to love and care for





As previous homeowners in both Canada and England we are very familiar with home and garden care and maintenance. We have been do-it-yourselfers for all our married life and as a result can tackle most jobs. Living for 14 years on our small sailboat we are used to handling off-the-grid systems. We have experience with garden maintenance and vegetable growing having managed our own for many years. Through house sitting we have been able to also experience and enjoy caring for farm animals and pet birds. Although we have been house sitting since 2008 we have in later years added to our qualifications by completing and graduating from the House Sitting Academy and graduating from the Dog Leadership for House Sitters course.

How do you describe Chris and Liz who are just perfect in every way. SALLY has been very spoilt- I can tell. Our house , garden and house plants are truly immaculate and flourishing.This couple are definitely keepers and will remain great friends of ours for a very long time. Wherever they go in the world anybody would be very lucky to have them house and at the same time build a new lovely friendship. We wish them all the best and hopefully catch up again very soon.

We honestly couldn't be happier with Liz and Chris. They are a calm, quiet couple who were the perfect match for our sensitive wee dog. They quickly earned her trust, and learnt about her little quirks - even finding the same joy in her antics as we do. We received regular updates with photos of their adventures while we were away, and communication prior to their arrival was also excellent. We cannot recommend Liz and Chris enough. Their warmth and kindness comes through in spades. This was my first time leaving my fur babies with a sitter and I was anxious. They made me feel so comfortable and my animals took to them immediately. I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday knowing they were being very well cared for. Liz and Chris are the perfect home sitters Our first ever house sit (4 wks overseas) and we were very apprehensive. Communication with Liz before and during the sit lifted all fears. No rating Liz was a lifesaver! Short notice, yet she was able to be flexible on my return. My dogs were more calm than I have ever seen them upon my return. The house was left clean and she even changed the bedding. Liz sent photos everyday and was detail oriented in following their routine. I would highly recommend Liz and Chris as house and dog sitters! Thank you!

They put our minds at rest immediately with their attention to detail as we left instructions for them them to care for all our farm animals as well as our beloved pets.
