Hi there!

I am a 34 year old Kiwi woman who moved to Toronto at the end of September 2022 on a 2 year IEC visa. I am a chartered accountant and am currently doing contract work remotely.

I have also lived in London and Amsterdam for 2 years each and have done a lot of travel in the past 7 years, with Canada being the 50th country I have visited.

I have done a fair bit of housesitting for family and friends before doing it through Kiwi Housesitters (the New Zealand version of this website). I love animals and would love to be your pet's friend while I care for them and your home.

I am honest, reliable, tidy and I do not smoke. I am fully vaccinated against covid and am happy to work together on any covid protocols you would like.

Please note, I have recently moved into my own apartment in the westend so will be less available and more selective about sits going forward.

Tegan is an absolute gem! Our 3 cats immediately took to her, including our reclusive Boston who is afraid of almost everyone. Tegan was a real trooper to take on our new addition, Mango, who can be very cute, but also a handful. We did not worry at all while we were away, with regular updates from Tegan. When we arrived home, the house was spotless, our plants thriving and the cats extremely well adjusted and cared for. I am sure that they all miss Tegan terribly. I can't say enough good ... MORE

Tegan was amazing. She took excellent care of my 3 Persian cats and my apartment. All were immaculate when I returned. The cats were happy and playful and in love with Tegan. She kept me abreast with their shenanigans and sent lots of pictures throughout her stay. I would 100% have her house sit for me again and will recommend her to all my friends.

Another great sitting of our house and beloved Lady. Tegan left the house super tidy, was quick to respond to any questions (even dealt with our smoke alarm trouble and a leak in a storm!) and lady was looking very happy when we came home. Thanks again!

Tegan was a great communicator from the time we connected through this site. We appreciated her coming out to meet us and Carlos prior to our sit, was easy to talk to, asks great questions and Carlos took a liking to her. It was comfortable to know that when I was away my house would have a person living in it and caring for my cat. Teagan was the house sitter that everyone would want. Hassle free and matched what I consider to be a great sitter in everyway. She showed real affection towards my cat and they created a tight bond. My house was immaculate when I arrived home. I could see it had been really cared for. Totally recommend Teagan to other people needing a genuine caring responsible sitter.

Tegan house sat minding our labrador dog and tabby cat for 5 days. She did a fabulous job caring for them- walking our dog twice daily giving them plenty of attention. She has a lovely way with animals. Our cat was quiet timid she knew this was likely. She Communicated with us regularly letting us know how they were getting on. It was a relief knowing they were being well looked after. Tegan left the house nice and tidy. We would certainly have her back if situation arose again.
