Reliable and resourceful, I'm a friendly quiet person with clean habits and a healthy lifestyle ( non-smoker, vegetarian ). I have always sought out and enjoyed the company of animals, and the feeling seems to be mutual. Lately I’ve discovered that having no pets to look after can also be a positive experience (; and remain open to such opportunities.

Earliest adventures as a registered house- sitter were set on a park-like acreage in Calgary, not far from my eldest son and his new family. Complete with 2 big dogs and 2 cats, it was an idyllic summer and an auspicious start to a new life-style spanning almost a decade.

Since then, many pets in safe keeping have required extra special attention and/or medication. The animal care aspect of this job is much more rewarding than anticipated.

As a homeowner for over 30 years, I remain alert to negative changes in a building or landscape, prepared to troubleshoot, and confident in dealing with the trades.

Your home, plants, and most importantly, your pets, will be well taken care of so that you can really relax and enjoy your holiday.
