I am an experienced professional (retired from McMaster University). I am newly retired and decided to rent out my owned condo in Sidney, BC to provide my help to those who need to get away and leave there babies (pets) in my care; if needed. I am so happy to help in any way. I will even organize cupboards or sheds for you, as I am so great at it. Or, think of something else you just can't seem to get to and we can discuss it.

Although there is no cost to have me in your home to house/pet sit, some hosts have taken advantage of my offer to also manage their Airbnb suites at their suggested fee while house sitting; please see testimonials below.

They factor in their cleaning fee for their airbnb costing. I have offered my ideas to improve their business and in some cases, they provide me with a budget to allow me to purchase items for them.

The peace of mind that Theresa provided to us while being away was priceless. She was so eager with our dog Remy, bringing him toys, really dedicating time and attention with many walks during the day & lots of play time. I liked Teresa from the start and was justified in that reaction. We met a few months in advance and discussed the timing and what was included - all straightforward and easy. Just before the house sit, we met again to review details - I appreciated her time for this. During the house sit, she kept us informed about our dog which I really appreciated, and any questions she had about the house. We had Teresa stay at our home for a month to look after our cat Miss Kitty. Miss Kitty is a rescue and is very shy. Teresa was very good a communicating with us and able to win Miss Kitty over which is a difficult task. Teresa sent us pictures of our kitty sitting on her knee. We recently had Teresa house sit for us while we were away in Europe, and we couldn't be more pleased with her services. She took excellent care of our home, our husky, and our garden. The house was spotless when we returned, and she even went above and beyond by mowing the lawn. We would 10/10 recommend Teresa to anyone in need of a reliable and caring house sitter. Teresa is an excellent pet sitter! She took great care of our girls Katie Mae and Zorra. She walked them 3 to 4 times a day, took them out on trails and to the beach, and even had them in her bed for a sleep over. Teresa sent us numerous pictures of our girls at the beach and just chilling out. The Girls were upset when she left. Teresa also took good care of our house for the month we were away. Teresa was simply FANTASTIC!! She took amazing care of our pooch, and even though Ripley missed us, she wasn't manic upon our return, which is always a great sign. Teresa frequently sent pictures without us having to ask and reached out anytime she had a question, We could tell she was providing our pet with the love and care we offer each and every day.
