Hello all, we are a couple who are looking for new adventures for the next stage of our lives (retirement).
Susanna is an RN and a passionate gardener.
Ray is a retired power engineer and an avid guitar player.
We share seven grandchildren between us, two of them in Australia. We are animal lovers and enjoy house- and pet sitting which we have done many times for family and friends. Most recently (August 2024) on a hobby farm on Gabriola Island, on the West Coast of BC.
We are active, adventurous, reliable and easy going people who love to hike, swim, ski, golf and travel.

Susanna and Ray were absolutely the best caregivers of our home and chickens.I have so much to say about them but will run out of room here so if you really want more information give me a call. House was perfect, chickens were well cared for and happy,,they also picked all the pears for us in the orchard and did numerous chores and plant care.Galiano embraced them. so I know they will be back on this little island.They are truly gems and we were so fortunate to have had them here house ...
