Wilma & Ross

We are a semi-retired couple returning to BC after 20+ years in NS where we lived on a resilient homestead with a menagerie of gardens and animals. We are travelling and living in our skoolie for the coming year as we visit communities in BC, currently spending the winter travelling around Vancouver island due to milder winters. Together we have had animals (cats & dogs) throughout most of our lives, past experiences pet & house sitting and we have arranged our own petsitters. We have also had chickens & pigs on our homestead. We are from a time when there was common decency, respect for others not like you, taking responsibility for one's actions, and lending a helping hand. We are seeking experiences in different communities so that we can spend some time learning about the place & surrounding area as we seek out our next home, tootling around in our skoolie & car with our old dog Shogun (alas shortly after arriving on Vancouver island we had to put him down due to various health issues) & 2 indoor/outdoor cats that are leash/harness trained (our pets are comfortable with livestock & other's pets. Please note that we would not ever take our cats inside of a petsitter's home - their home is our skoolie). We are open to long term stays. We do need a spot to park the skoolie, and we use our own car to get around. We have lots of flexibility.
