Nanoose Bay British Columbia

We were lucky enough to look after Marek and Danuta's beautiful house and wonderful Themba and Topo. Such affectionate and extremely well-behaved dogs, we fell in love with them right away. They may be quite big and powerful but they really are softies. Marek and Danuta really took the time to explain everything clearly which was appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Nanoose Bay for another pet sit once we get back to Canada and I would highly recommend this sit.

Topo and Themba enjoy long walks but are equally happy relaxing at home. We found them to be lovely dogs who were very easy and enjoyable to look after. Despite their large size they are very well natured, calm and well behaved. Marek and Danuta have a great house with amazing views. They were very generous and communicative hosts, and we would be very happy to house-sit for them any time. Chris & Helen

Topo and Themba were a joy to care for. This was our 2nd time caring for them. They kept us in great shape, with daily hikes down some fantastic regional park and logging trails located in the area. Topo is a sweet little girl full of energy and love, and Themba is an esteemed old gentleman deserving of much respect. Marek and Danuta set everything up for us before they left and were always available whenever we had any questions despite being on the other side of the planet. The dogs lived ... The dogs lived with us in the downstairs suite which is very comfortable and had everything we needed to live in luxury, including a very comfortable king-sized bed, fully outfitted kitchen, large deck, and a fantastic view over the bay. It’s been a great month; one we will fondly remember.

Marek & Danuta were incredibly well prepared, are excellent communicators, and charming hosts. Their home is immaculate, with a stunning view and plenty of nearby places to explore. Their dogs Topo and Themba were just an absolute joy to care for-- I couldn't have asked for two more wonderful companions! Overall it was a delight to housesit and I would give them my highest recommendation.

The house is large and beautiful, the yard is fenced, and the neighbourhood is quiet. We have a return-sit scheduled for October and can't wait to return!

Danuta and Marek have a beautiful home in a great location, and were so welcoming! We had a great time looking after Topo and Themba! They are such sweet, well behaved dogs and it was just a pleasure to spend time with them. If you get the opportunity, we definitely recommend this house sit!

We loved sitting for Danuta & Marek! The dogs, Themba & Topo are lovable and, though large, are very well behaved and obedient. Getting to know Danuta and Marek and live in their lovely home with an incredible view was a special experience also. I even got to try paddle boarding on the ocean a few minutes from the home, excellent! We highly recommend you take any opportunity to sit for Marek & Danuta.

My wife Cate and I were house sitters for nearly 2 weeks at this gorgeous home. We were invited to dinner the day before our hosts travelled and had the opportunity to discuss the various requirements of taking care of their two dogs and to ensure that we knew how everything worked in the household. Their beautiful dogs were a joy to watch on our daily walks! Communication via text happened regularly. Our hosts were very gracious and appreciative of our care.

Marek and Danuta were absolutely lovely to sit for. They treated us incredibly well. Their home is gorgeous and the dogs were the most well behaved dogs I have ever had the pleasure of looking after. They are such beautiful, intelligent creatures. I totally fell in love. We had a fantastic stay and were so sad to leave.

Fabulous house/pet sit. Marek & Danuta are a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome. Both Themba and Topo were a joy to look after, they are big dogs but very sweet and loving and great fun to be with. Hopefully one day we may get the opportunity to spend time with them again.

Wonderful and friendly couple with two lovable and well trained large dogs. I truly felt peaceful and comfortable at their quiet home surrounded by nature. Definitely recommend and would go back again!
