Burns Lake British Columbia

I live on a ranch where I raise heritage sheep breeds, two highland cows, a jersey, a pony, cats, multiple Flock Guardian Dogs and a Border Collie. The town name is Burns Lake in the province of B.C. I am located on the southside of François Lake, in Grassy Plains. We are 1 hour from town on serviced roads including a free ferry ride across the lake. This is a semi wilderness area abundant with wildlife and some of the world's best lake fishing and mountain biking. Lots of opportunity for outdoor activities suited to every age and ability. My home is comfortable if a little rustic. Amenities include electricity, well water, wood heat and internet. Appliances include stove, fridge, freezer, and washer/dryer. There are some cell service locations near by and in the area but no strong signals around the house. While staying here you would be responsible for watering the house plants, feeding the dogs and cats, ensuring everybody has water, checking on the farm animals regularly and possibly bottle feeding lambs. There are currently four bottle babies. My neighbours stand in as emergency contacts and are familiar with my operation. There is a farm truck for use if needed. There are two corner stores both with cafes, one gas station, a health center, pharmacy, ambulance and several churches here on the southside. We are a small community busy with seasonal chores, independant and self reliant.
