We live in the quiet, picturesque municipality of Alcove in QC. Our home is nestled in the forest and sits atop the trees and overlooks a beautiful lake and mountains.

Amenities:

We’re very close to 2 popular tourist villages:
- 12 minute drive to the picturesque village of Wakefield, QC
- 20 minute drive to the other popular tourist village of Chelsea
- 40 minute drive to Ottawa (Byward market area)

Our pampered pets include two dogs, 2 cats and a bird:

- 12 year old rescue German Shepherd named Toby,

- 9 year old Honduran rescue mix named Chi Chi aka Cheech.

- 7 year old rescue tuxedo cat named Q, aka Maudine.

- 6 month old rescue tabby kitten named Ollie, aka Toutoune.

- 16’ish year old rescue Conure parrot named Fez, aka Bird.

We would be looking for someone to walk the dogs, feed the pets, maintain cat litters, bird dropping cleanups (Fez flies free and will love to sit on you) and lots of lovin and interaction would be all part of it as well as just cleaning up after yourself(ves).

No parties, groups or fires will be allowed.

I had a great week at Samantha's cozy home in rural Quebec! Clear instructions on the 4 pets were written out, but there was nothing complicated or intimidating. The dogs are such sweethearts, so chill. The cat Q is quiet and independent. And the bird Fez is entertaining and affectionate. Their home is very close to Wakefield, which is now one of my favourite towns in Canada. I recommend this house-sit to any pet lover!
