Hi - thanks for considering our pet sit

Are you mature, self-reliant, clean, responsible, non-smoking cat-lovers?

Experience with cats is a must. A retired couple would be wonderful.

The Pets:
Two friendly, gentle, well trained cats: one who will want your love and attention, and the other who will hide until he can trust. The orange tabby has asthma, she’ll be off her puffer while we are away, so you’ll monitor her breathing. Both love being gently brushed.

Pet Care Responsibilities:
- Feed dry food 1x daily
- Feed wet food 2x a week
- Change 2 water bowls daily
- Clean litters 1x every day
- One short message to us daily about pet health/behaviour

This is a bright, comfortable home with a panoramic view of the town and the glacier from big windows. If you don't drive or won't be renting a car: we're central and you can walk to groceries, stores and all you'd need. We are a 3min drive to Crown Isle golf course, a 30min drive from skiing on Mt Washington, a 5min drive to Comox and the marina.

House Responsibilities:
- Keep the house as clean and neat as you find it
- Take out the garbage
- Bring in the mail
- Water 15 house plants 1x a week

House Rules:
- no smoking of any kind on the property
- no guests (only the site-registered sitter(s) in the house) No exceptions
- no kids
- no pets
- no shoes in the house
- respect our privacy and private spaces

We provide a comfortable bedroom and bathroom for your use. You are welcome to use the public areas of our home. We’ll have kitchen cabinet and fridge space ready for you, and you’ll provide your own food. You are welcome to use the condiments, spices, salad dressings etc.

I don't know where to start. Yah!! I do, the fur family. The cats were a delight to care for and I truly miss them. OMG the brushing, just the cutest thing ever. This home was very comfortable and easy to upkeep. You would feel at home in a heart beat here, especially with all that cat love. Natasha was so wonderful at making me feel comfortable in there home. Truly a lovely family lives under that roof. The area is great to explore and the downtown is too cute. Natasha provided an orientation to the home and care for the two cats in advance of the pet sit. She also provided a detailed typed up list of things to know and or do / not do. The cats are beautiful and make for lovely companions. The house overlooks Courtenay and there are many places of interest in the region.
