Port Elgin Ontario

Our bungalow is fully renovated with a master suite, a Murphy queen bed in a second bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, attached garage, central heat/air, gas fireplace, solar shingles with battery back up and open concept main living space. We are 2 blocks from a sandy, shallow entry beach on Lake Huron excellent for long walks. Our property is surrounded by trees in a quiet neighbourhood, lovely for walking but also just 5 minutes from a shopping complex. Our gardens are filled with native plants, a few bird feeders and a fire pit. We have a service to plow our driveway when there has been an accumulation of snow & you will be able to park in our heated garage. There is a provincial park 2 km. away with cross country skiing, shinny and ice skating.
Our schnoodle Piper is 2.5 year old rescue and very affectionate once she gets to know you. We play almost daily with canine friends at the community dog park and would want to keep to this routine. She loves to go for walks around our neighbourhood or at a park. Piper loves to hang out at the front windows and keep an eye out for squirrels, chipmunks or other dog friends. She has an invisible fence system to keep her safe when in the yard with you. She sleeps at the foot of our bed and tells us when it is time to retire. Piper is territorial so prefer sitters without dogs. We leave her uncrated for short periods of time in our main living space when we go out.
We have a few potted plants in our home that need an occasional drink and outdoor bird feeders to be filled.
