Hello,
Our house is located 40 minutes North of Kingston and 30 minutes South of Sharbot Lake on a lake surrounded by nature in South Frontenac. It is a very lovely and quiet environment, perfect for relaxation!
We are looking for a house/pet sitter to look after our 2 rescue cats, Neo and Willow, and our 2 dogs, Maple and Cooper, while we are away on our vacation.
We have a fenced yard for the dogs, so they can easily go outside. We usually take the dogs for walks when the weather permits, but they can run around the fenced area freely to exercise on a daily basis. Cooper is our Dalmatian and he just turned 7 years old. Everyone who meets him fall in love! Maple is the new addition to our family. She is now 16 months old and so sweet! She is full of love!
The cats are house cats. Neo is a very friendly orange cat with quite a personality. Willow is very quiet and will hide when she feels the presence of unfamiliar people in the house, but will eventually warm up.
If you like nature, this is the place to be! There are many trails for walking, cycling, hiking in the area, We live on a dirt road in the middle of the forest, but we have very nice neighbours who live close by and are very helpful when needed.
We have a hot tub on property for relaxation, a great place to watch the stars at night! End the day in front of a fire and enjoy a warm drink or a glass of wine. Life is good!

Denise and Ross were very warm welcoming They filled us in about the details regarding the pets and the house. Denise's welcome/info book was very helpful and she updates for every house-sitter. I concur with all of the comments in their other reviews, but will add that Maple loves to be in the lake. Cooper enjoys the sun and sniffing around the shoreline. Neo and Maple or escape artists, so just an FYI there. If Neo does get outside, a shake of her bag of treats has her returning quickly. ... MORE

Beautiful lake house, comfortable beds, situated on a quiet lake with loons. The dogs, Cooper the Dalmatian and Maple the Golden, are both good on leash but if neighbours are out when you are going past, the dogs might tug you over to say hello to the neighbours. I walked them separately since I was solo. The cats are loving and easy to get along with. Neo is an escapist but doesn’t get too far and is easy to catch. A wonderful sit for a very welcoming couple in a quiet, lakeside country setting with a beautiful view and lovely pets! One of the dogs, Maple, is still learning good manners (she was 9 months old during my sit). Patience and consistency is required to take care of her. Denise and family were wonderful people, so welcoming and friendly. Really great rustic lake house right on the water (really nice) with a large hotub outside (kayaks available). Property was out in the country but not isolated. Beautiful dogs: a loving Dalmatian and frisky golden puppy who is still learning. Two cats: ginger plus a fluffy one - I found both friendly.
