Hi everybody. A house and pet sitter is required for a beautiful farmhouse located 20 minutes north of Wakefield. Huge rambling property with plenty of peace and quiet, lots of walking and hiking, skiing close by. Home to a lazy, old gorgeous red female german shepherd, a crazy fun 2-year old border collie, and an ancient cat who is on her 12th life. The spare room has an excellent double bed. There is a brand new kitchen installed. Very little in the way of maintenance, just pet companionship, general occupancy, and shovelling the front walk.

I thoroughly enjoyed my house sit at Pamela and Michael’s beautiful old log homestead. It was very quiet, comfortable and serene with their 110 acres to roam around with the two dogs Archie and Ruby. It was always fun to throw a ball or stick with Archie, and remove Ruby’s copious amount of fur daily. I was in contact with Pamela and Michael throughout the entire process, as we had a video chat as an interview and then another video chat after Archie received some porcupine quills in his nose, ...
