We need a house sitter

Vancouver Coast & Mountains - Greater Vancouver

We live in a south Burnaby apartment. The apartment is two levels and about 1000 square feet with a large patio. We are about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Metrotown.
Our area has many amenities within a block or two. This includes a grocery store, convenience store, vet, pharmacy, liquor store, and restaurants. We are also close to transit- skytrain Station a 7 minute walk away.
We are looking for someone to feed our young cat (5 year) wet food a few times a day, keep dry food topped up, water bowls full, litter box scooped and give her lots of attention. She also requires daily brushing as she has long hair. Our kitty is very social and would appreciate some play time (laser pointer or balls are her favourite). She prefers to be near people at all times.

We will be leaving late on June 9 and returning afternoon on June 23. Single or couple preferred.

Angie's 2-storey apartment is in a conveniently-located, low-level, quiet building. Groceries are only a half-block away, and the nearest sky-train station is within easy walking distance. Nala is a small Persian cat with a grumpy-looking face, but she is a real sweetheart so don't be deceived by her facial expression. She tolerates being groomed pretty well, and likes to play. Angie was quick to respond to messages and very helpful in all respects.

First of all, Nala is the cutest cat in the world! I sat for Angie and Chris twice, and they are so lovely. Easy communication, a spacious condo to chill with Nala with straight forward expectations for her care. Daily brushing of her beautiful fur and some play time with her laser! :) Their condo is in a safe and convenient area (for parking or for taking the train),

I appreciate that everything was entirely ordinary and that Chris and Angie are *normal* working people who like to travel. Their cat Nala is also undemanding - once a day medication, brush, and play. The lower middle-class neighbourhood is convenient to everything. The Netflix/Prime on a HD TV were great. Soak the plants on the patio. Friendly neighbours too. No issues! The nice couple had no unreasonable expectations - just feed the cat (and one fish named Lightening, not Wanda), scoop ... MORE
