My boyfriend and I work out of town on a 8 and 6 rotation. We leave on a Monday and return on the next Tuesday. We have a home located in mulhurst Bay, On a 2 acer lot, Aprox 1 km from the lake. There are amenities in the area like Golf, the lake, and walking paths. The home is quiet and has lots of privacy. We are looking for someone to stay with our two maincoon/ Himalayan one year old cats and a full maimcoon Christmas addition kitten, to Keep them out of trouble and maintain proper care. We need the litter cleaned once a day. Keep up with water and food. Play with them and interact with them. We also have a fish tank with koi. They require food once a day. In the summer months the koi will be back in the pond and will again need to be fed once a day. Flowers outside would require watering. We would love to open our home to someone that would enjoy the quiet lake life, treat our home with care and respect, socialize with our cats/kitten, feed our fish, and clean up after themselves. We would love to be able to find someone that would enjoy this type of work long term since our shift is ongoing of 8 and 6, but also understand not everyone has that type of flexibility. Brandy and Chris were very hospitable hosts. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived.
The home is in a nice friendly neighbourhood and is short walk to the lakeside where there is a nice pathway.
The home itself is well appointed and comfortable.
The kittens were most adorable and a lot fun. No problems at all and mostly self entertaining.
If you'd like a country stay with some nice forest views and lakeside walks I would highly recommend this sit.
This was a great house and pet sit. Lucy and Millie were so well behaved. They're just little sweeties whom are easy to fall in love with. Feeding the fish was easy to remember as well. The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a housesit. I brought some work to do and went out every other day so it was a great balance. Brandy and Chris are very welcoming and personable. Communication was great. It was a pleasure to sit here.
This was a great housesit. Communication prior to and throughout the sit was timely and considerate. The house and yard are both lovely and comfortable to spend time in. We really enjoyed our time with Lucy and Millie. They are very well-behaved cats and were fun to have around. The area is picturesque and well-located for activities and amenities. We had the opportunity to stay for 11 more days and take care of these sweet kitties. Brandy and Chris are such lovely people with huge kind hearts. The communication is fantastic and again, their home is wonderful. Millie & Lucy are such a delight. Very mild tempered, well behaved kitties with cute personalities. We enjoyed every minute with them. We would definitely return to this sit; highly recommend. Thank you both so much for everything, you are wonderful people.
We had a lovely time at Brandy & Chris’ watching Millie & Lucy. They are the cutest kitties and provided us endless entertainment watching them race around and play with each other & their toys.
