Galiano Island British Columbia

Hello, I live on one of the smaller Southern Gulf Islands. My home is across the street from the ocean and has stunning ever changing views. My best friend is a 75 lb mix breed dog. He will be 1 year in February 2025. He has lots of energy and requires ongoing guidance. I use stricly positive reinforcement with him. After our morning hike he likes to spend the afternoon snoozing, with cuddles if available. He is very loving and has a generally calm attentive nature. He can be a bed hog and quite stubborn at times. He requires at least one long walk or off leash forest run each morning. I am hoping to find someone who can watch him when I am on holidays from 1-4 weeks once or twice a year. I would like to start with a shorter time so that he can get to know someone. He is a little shy and very bonded with me. He is nondestructive when left alone but likes to be in your company most of the time.
