Montreal Quebec

My husband and I live with our two cats on the top floor of a classic Montréal-style triplex in the middle of Villeray. The neighbourhood is beautiful and very walkable, close to great restaurants, little shops, a park, grocery stores, and Jean-Talon Market (a year-round market with fresh produce, meats, cheeses, fish & baked goods). We don't find that we have any need for a car, as we are also close to two subway stations (Jarry on the Orange Line and De Castelnau on the Blue Line). Located in a 100-year-old triplex, the apartment requires minimal maintenance, just a few plants that need watering. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment.

We have two cats that are in need of watching - Saffron (11) and Romy (9). Saffron is the most gentle cat you will ever meet. She loves attention and can be quite vocal. She eats a specialized vet food and has liquid medication that must be administered once every three days to manage her Crohn's Disease (she is very used to this medication and takes it easily). Because of this, she should not be given any treats or other food as she is allergic to all proteins. Romy has a big personality and is very cuddly - she will love to sit with you (and on you) and sleep in the bed. She also eats a specialized vet food to manage UTIs, and is given pumpkin daily to manage her digestion. Other than food management, both cats are very chill and lovable - truly a joy to have around the home.

We are away for a week and a half at the end of February and would love for someone to stay in our home and have the classic Montréal experience!
