We need a house sitter

We are looking for sitter(s) to do an approximately two week house sit in March (note: we travel other times in the year, including the summer so would welcome an ongoing connection).

We have a lovely, recently renovated home in Penticton, British Columbia. Things we love about the home are the quiet, the view, and the spacious open feel. We have a hot tub and fireplace. There's not much in the way of yard or indoor plant maintenance .

We have a four year old lab who is mellowing nicely with age (if you know labs you will appreciate this). There's an extensive and beautiful trail network just a short distance from our house, so dog walks are amazing.

Penticton and the Okanagan Valley are beautiful and all our past housesitters have loved their time here!

It was such a pleasure getting to know Rajeev, Kim, Emma and Wylie! From the moment we met we felt very welcomed and at home in their beautiful house overlooking Penticton and its wonderful lakes. The introduction and instructions to their routines were very thorough and we enjoyed staying in touch and sharing highlights during their/our adventures. Kim and Rajeev are amazing hosts with great communication. The house is beautiful with a fantastic view of Okanogan Lake and Penticton area. I throughly enjoyed house sitting Wylie, even though he is high energy, we had a lot of fun together. Wylie loves his walks and fetching, whether it be sticks or his toys. Wylie listened well and never wandered too far off the trail or out of sight. Wylie is quiet most of the time with an occasional bark when he thinks he hears something. Wylie does ... MORE

Fabulous family and a lovely home, we had a great time taking care of Wylie and Tripp for what ended up being around five weeks in total. Wylie and Tripp are easy to take care of, and both very loving dogs. Wylie has a lot of energy to burn while Tripp is the older dog and is more than satisfied with a couple of short walks and lazy afternoons lying around.
