Shubenacadie Nova Scotia

We live in the picturesque rural area of Colchester County, nestled between Shubenacadie and Stewiacke, in a charming old farmhouse. Our home offers a comfortable 5-bedroom layout, with one bathroom and an open dining and living area. The guest bedroom is located on the second floor - providing a closet, dresser and a queen-size bed.

Our property spans 23 acres and is conveniently located right by the old highway with excellent access to Highway 102, offering easy connections to the rest of Nova Scotia. From the property, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Shubie River, which connects to the Bay of Fundy – perfect for watching the spectacular daily high tides.

We have a small vegetable garden that will need light care, mostly watering, but you might also get to harvest and enjoy some fresh, homegrown produce.

Our little homestead is home to a variety of animals that will require your care:

Chickens: Enjoy fresh farm eggs every morning!
Scottish Highland cows: A lovely little herd of these friendly animals.
Farm dog: A loyal companion to help around the property.
House cat: A sweet, mostly indoor cat who will enjoy your company.

For the animals, the main tasks will include checking their water supply and feeding them. The chickens will also need to be let out and fed daily, and in return, you’ll be treated to the freshest eggs each morning.
