Calgary Alberta

Hi - my family and I are going away for 10 days in March. We have a senior labrador retriever that unfortunately won't be coming with us. We are looking for a house/dog sitter to care for her while we are away. We also have 2 budgies that will also need care.

Our dog, Ruby is 12 and requires only a short walk each day. Other than that, she usually just lounges around the house sleeping on every piece of furniture she can find. Our budgies are a more recent addition to our house and don't require much care (other than water and food and an occasional cage cleaning). The birds are friendly and can come out of the cage if you'd like.

We have a medium/large home in a suburb of Calgary. We are a short walk to a train station and have many shops and malls in our very close vicinity. There is also Fish Creek Provincial Park only 1km down the street. We have 3 kids so we have lots of kids toys and beds if you have children. We also have a home office set up in case you need to work. Our backyard is fenced so you don't have to worry about our dog running off. We also have a hot tub for those cold Calgary nights.
